Akron // Kent State Dual
On a night where senior Jordan Latimer (Huber Heights, Ohio) established a school-record mark of 26-0 (7.92m) to win the men's long jump, it was senior Matt Ludwig (Chardon, Ohio) that stole the show for the Akron track and field team garnering a world-leading and career-best mark of 19-1.50 (5.83m) to win the men's pole vault directing the Zips to a pair of dual-meet victories past Kent State in the annual Akron-Kent State dual on Friday, Jan. 25, at the Stile Athletics Field House.

Bowling Green // Can-Am International
Redshirt senior Aliyah Gustafson broke her own school record in the shot put to highlight a big day for the Bowling Green State University track and field team at the Can-Am International, hosted by Eastern Michigan. Gustafson added a season-best mark in the weight throw and numerous Falcons set personal and season bests during the day.

Buffalo // Can-Am Invitational
The University at Buffalo track and field team continued their indoor season, competing in the EMU CAN-AM hosted by Eastern Michigan on Saturday in Ypsilanti, Mich. at the Bowen Field House. The Bulls were able to collect two individual victories on the afternoon as Jess Dhaliwall collected a victory in the weight throws event and Sydney March won in the women's 600m.

Central Michigan // Can-Am International
Calli Stemple took home first place in the women's high jump to lead the Central Michigan indoor track & field team on Saturday at the Can-Am International at Eastern Michigan's Bowen Field House. Stemple, a senior, cleared 5 feet, 7 inches to win by 2 inches. "That was really big for Stemple, a (personal record) is awesome," CMU director of track & field/cross country Jenny Swieton said. "It was a really big day for her."

Eastern Michigan Men // Can-Am International
In his last home meet as an Eagle, senior Cameron Hart (Columbus, Ohio-Bishop Hartley) led the Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team as they excelled as hosts of the Can-Am International, Saturday, Jan. 26, inside Bowen Field House. The Columbus, Ohio native was the lone Eagle to notch two event titles in the Green and White's impressive performance in the friendly confines of its home turf for the first time in two years. Additionally, sophomore Taige Bryant (Edmond, Okla.-Edmond Memorial) saw success at the meet, as his mark of 19.02m in the weight throw secured the ninth-best heave in program history, and fifth-best mark in the Mid-American Conference this season.

Eastern Michigan Women // Can-Am International
The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team shined as hosts of the Can-Am International Saturday, Jan. 26, inside its home territory of the Bowen Field House. Four Eagles snagged the team's five event titles, while sophomore Kadian Clarke (Kingston, Jamacia- Immaculate Conception) broke her own program weight throw record just one week after initially setting it. "We really enjoyed running at home," noted Head Coach Sue Parks. "We saw some improvements in some areas, especially on the field side with Ally (Goff) winning the long jump and Kadian (Clarke) breaking her school record again in the weight throw. Michaela (Nelms) was great in both the 200m and 400m. We saw some great things across the board, and it was just a great day."

Kent State // Akron Dual
Kent State's men's and women's track and field programs fell to the Zips Friday night at Stile Athletics Field House in the annual Akron-Kent State Dual. The women's team dropped their dual by a score of 79-72, while the men fell in their dual, 78-72. Twelve Flashes grabbed individual victories on the night. Sophomore Grace Tennant picked up her second consecutive victory in the women's shot put, setting a new career-best mark at 15.12 meters (49'-07.25").

Miami // IU Relays
Finishing up its second straight weekend at Indiana, the Miami University track and field team competed Saturday at day two of the IU Relays. The best performance of the day came from the women's 4x400 team who took the victory in a field that include the 'A' teams from the likes of Wisconsin and the host Indiana, among others. Kalliopi Kountouri, Sarah Bruns, Faith Baxter, and Olivia Bechtel teamed up to run a 3:44.16 to earn the win.

Ohio // Thundering Herd Invitational
Ohio track and field after two days of competing finished 6th place with a total of 51 points at the Thundering Herd Invitational (Jan. 26). Junior Tajah Haley (Washington, Pa.) finished third in the shot put with a distance of 12.95m, scoring 6 points for the Bobcats. Freshman Autumn Mohan (Chillicothe, Ohio) finished fifth in shot put with a distance of 12.65m to add an extra 4 points to the score.

Toledo // GVSU Open
The University of Toledo women's track & field team landed in second place at the Grand Valley State Open with 120.5 points. The Rockets' second-place finish was 11.5 points behind meet-winner GVSU and the day was highlighted by senior Nautica Hill setting a personal record in the 60m dash. UT took 12 top-three finishes on the day. "Today was a pretty good day all around," said head coach Linh Nguyen. "We had a lot of personal bests and MAC qualifying marks. I think the more time we have together after coming back from break, the better we're getting. Again, it was good to see the mentality go up a notch. With only two more weekends of competition before the MAC championship, we're starting to get a clearer picture of where we stand and what we need to do."

Western Michigan // Jack Johnson Classic
The Western Michigan track and field team wrapped up the Jack Johnson Classic at the University of Minnesota on Saturday, taking three event titles on the weekend. The Broncos claimed the top spots in the long jump, 200-meter dash and the 4x400-meter relay. Junior Erica Sheahan set the tone for the day with a win in the long jump. Sheahan reached a distance of 19' 2.75" (5.86m), falling just shy of a new personal best. She also went on to take fifth overall and fourth collegiately in the triple jump at 35' 3.75" (10.76m).
