Artur Osvath, Missouri State
Senior, Budapest, Hungary / Arany Janos Altalanos Iskola es Gimnazium
Artur Osvath had a standout weekend against rivals Drury and Missouri, pulling in four first-place individual finishes and was an intricate part of a 200 medley team victory. At Drury he won the 200 IM (1:49.25), 100 butterfly (47.81), and swam a leg in the Bears’ first-place 200 medley (1:29.41) to help Missouri State take a dominant 169-65 victory. Osvath won another two events against nationally-ranked Missouri, in the 100 and 200 breaststroke with times of 54.70 and 1:58.16. His team also placed third in the 200 medley at 1:29.13.
MAC Women's Swimmer of the Week
Delaney Duncan, Eastern Michigan
Senior, Galesburg, Ill.-Galesburg
Eastern Michigan senior Delaney Duncan (Galesburg, Ill.-Galesburg)., earned two top-ten league marks this weekend as the Eagles prevailed over the Bulls, 159-141, Jan. 19. Her top finish in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:01.53 was the second-fastest league mark, behind only her own time of 1:00.88 at the Denison Invitational. Her other effort in the stroke showed similar results, as her first-place 200 Breaststroke finish with a time of 2:15.81 registered the fifth-fastest conference mark in the event this season. She also added a leg of the Eagles’ “A” relay squads, helping EMU to a first-place finish in the 200 Yard Medley while also adding a third place finish in the 200 IM. Her finish in the individual medley was the top finish for a member of the Green and White.

Credence Pattinson, Evansville
Sophomore, Port Elizabeth, South Africa
Sophomore Credence Pattinson led the Aces to a win over Ball State on Friday night. He took a definitive individual win in the 100 backstroke in a 52.18, over two seconds faster than 2nd place. He then took 1st in the 100 butterfly with a 51.60. Pattinson also led off the winning 200 Medley Relay that clocked a 1:35.62. He then partook in the 400 Freestyle Relay that won with a 3:11.99.
Sean Wolfe, Ball State
Sophomore, Danville, Ind.
Sean Wolfe gave the Cardinals a huge lift by sweeping the diving events in Ball State's duel meet against in-state rival Evansville Friday night. Wolfe brought home all 18 points possible in the diving events. His performance on the 1M was dominant as the next-closest score was nearly eight points behind his 262.13. On the 3M, Wolfe's first-place finish helped the Cardinals sweep the entire event.
Other Female Nominees
Kristen Straszacker, Toledo
Sophomore, Cape Town, South Africa
Straszacker swam in three events for the Midnight Blue and Gold, scoring 19 points across the 100 back, 200 back and 200 individual medley. In the 100, Straszacker was one second away from setting a new personal record after winning in 57.76. The Cape Town, South Africa native also won the 200 back, finishing in 2:04.94. In her final swim of the day, Straszacker stopped the clock in 2:12.13 to take sixth in the 200 IM.
Kelsey Morgan, Ohio
Freshman, Pickerington, Ohio / Pickerington North High School
Freshman Kelsey Morgan placed first in the 200-yard breaststroke event both opportunities this weekend. Morgan clocked in at 2:19.63 against MAC foe Toledo on Friday (Jan. 18) to not only win the event for Ohio but enter the top 15 MAC times in the 200-yard breaststroke event entering 14th overall. Ohio would go on to defeat Toledo for its first MAC victory of the 2018-19 season. The following day, Saturday (Jan. 19) the Bobcats faced a double dual against Duquesne and Xavier. Morgan again clenched first-place in the 200-yard breaststroke event assisting Ohio in its sweep of Duquesne and Xavier. Ohio went 3-0 on the weekend with a strong performance from freshman Kelsey Morgan.
