Akron // All-Ohio Championships
The University of Akron men's and women's cross country teams turned in successful efforts at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships hosted by the Silver Creek Metro Park on Saturday, Sept. 29, with the Zips' men's squad capturing the overall team title.

Ball State // Greater Louisville Classic
Thanks to a career-best 5K time of 18:12.5, junior Maritza Rodriguez placed 52nd among 178 scored runners to lead the Ball State cross country team to the finish line of the Greater Louisville Classic Saturday morning at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky. Not far behind, her twin sister junior Meliza Rodriguez who also turned in a career-best 5K effort of 18:52.4 to place 98th among scored runners. It marks the first time the twins have combined to be the Cardinals' top two runners in the same race over their careers.

All-Ohio Championships // Louisville Cross Country Classic

It was another successful day for the Falcons cross country programs, with many athletes recording new personal bests, and in some cases breaking school records. With part of the team in Louisville, and others in Akron, there was plenty of opportunities for experience for the BGSU runners.

Buffalo // Paul Short Invite
The University at Buffalo Cross Country programs built upon their early successes this season as both the Men's and Women's teams competed in various events at the Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.

Central Michigan // Notre Dame Invitational
The Central Michigan men placed fourth in the Gold Division and the Chippewa women finished 16th in the Blue Division on Friday in the 63rd Joe Piane Cross Country Invitational at Notre Dame.

Eastern Michigan Women // Notre Dame Invitational
The Eastern Michigan University women's cross country team placed eighth at the Notre Dame Joe Piane Invitational (5k) in South Bend, Ind. Friday, Sept. 28. The Eagles posted a team score of 262 points, placing two runners within the top-25. As a team, Eastern bested No. 21-ranked California (16th), as well as both Mid-American Conference opponents, Miami (ninth) and Central Michigan (17th). This is the second straight week Eastern has edged a top-30 program, after out-racing Providence in last week's Battle In Beantown, Sept. 21.

Kent State // All-Ohio Championships
The Kent State men's and women's cross country teams reached the halfway point in the regular season after completing the All-Ohio Championships on Saturday. For the women, Maddie Dunlap earned her third straight top-12 finish of the season, leading the Golden Flashes to a 10th place finish as a team with a time of 21:58.3. In the women's 6k Open race, Ally Potyrala finished in seventh place (23:24.7).

Miami // Joe Piane Invitational
The Miami University cross country team competed in Notre Dame's Joe Piane Invitational Friday. Several RedHawks had big days, with over a dozen athletes recording personal records, including eight Miami women.

Northern Illinois // Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational
Taking on an impressive field that included 16 nationally-ranked programs, the Northern Illinois University cross country team claimed a 30th place finish on Friday afternoon at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational. Sophomore Ashley Tutt (Channahon, Ill./Minooka) was the first finisher for the Huskies, completing the six-kilometer course in 21:02.0.

Ohio // All-Ohio Championships 
The Ohio men's and women's cross country teams return home after competing in the All-Ohio Collegiate Championships in Akron, Ohio finishing in first and fourth places as a team. The women's team finished fourth overall as a team while the men finished first.

Toledo // All-Ohio Championships
The University of Toledo women's cross country team finished first at the All-Ohio Championships on Saturday with 27 points. The meet was hosted by the University of Akron.

Western Michigan // Joe Piane Invitational
In its fourth meet of the season, the Western Michigan cross country team finished fourth in the Women's Gold Division 5K at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational on Friday afternoon. Senior captain Sarah Anderson led the way for the Broncos, with a personal-best time this season to take fifth overall.
