Freshman Ivana Shah fired a 1-under par 71 total and finished 17th overall at the Nittany Lion Invitational. On the final day of competition, Shah carded 13 pars, three birdies and two bogeys en route to a 1-under tally. Shah finished tied for 17th overall after climbing 13 spots on the player leaderboard with a 222 (+6) tournament total. Shah opened the event with a 2-over par 74 score and followed with a 77 (+5) second round. She mixed nine par scores with two birdies and an eagle in round one and added 12 pars and a birdie in round two for a the 151 (+7) total for 30th overall.

Freshman, Novi, Mich.-Novi
Freshman Abby Livingston (Novi, Mich.-Novi) was one of three Eagles to reside inside the top-15 spots after firing a 158 (78-80) to tie for seventh in her collegiate debut. It marked the first time in at least 15 years that an EMU freshman had placed inside the top-10 during their first career tournament.
Emily Hughes, Ohio
Senior, Columbus, Ohio / Gahanna Lincoln
Emily Hughes led the Bobcats this weekend at the 2018 Nittany Lion Invitational, hosted by Penn State at the 6,322-yard Penn State Blue Course, Sept. 22-23. Hughes finished in 44th place after opened play with a first round score of 75. She then came out in the second round to shoot a 78, before wrapping up play on Sunday with a third round of 79. Overall, Hughes finished the tournament with a three-round total o f 229 (+13).
Bria Colosky, Central Michigan
Senior, Farwell, Mich./Farwell HS
Colosky closed with an even-par 72 and finished tied for third in the Oakland Golden Grizzlies Invitational at Katke-Cousins Golf Course in Rochester, Mich. Colosky’s 72 was the low round in the 36-hole tournament, and she finished among a group tied for third – along with teammate Meghan Deardorff – at 155. She made an 11-shot improvement from her first round to her second. Colosky’s second-round performance helped the Chippewas post a 316 team score, the second-lowest team total in the event, as they placed third, the second-best finiah for a CMU team since the program’s resurrection in the 2014-15 season. Colosky made three birdies, tying for the most in the 68-player field, in her final round. She tied for third in the field with 12 pars and ranked first in par-3 and par-4 scoring average. Colosky’s 72 ties for the third-best round in CMU history.
