Senior Gisli Sveinbergsson led the Flashes’ lineup this weekend at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate with a 6-under par 204 score for a 16th place finish overall. Sveinbergsson was the only player in the lineup to shoot all three rounds under-par (67-68-69/204). The senior shot remarkable first and third rounds of bogey-free golf, ending the tournament with eight birdies. Sveinbergsson led the whole tournament with 44 total pars. Ranked 49th in the nation, he holds a 68 scoring average with all three rounds under par.

Trinity Forest Invitational
Bronnenberg led Ball State with an even-par total of 213 over 54 holes at SMU's Trinity Forest Invitational. He carded two rounds of 1-under par 70 and finished in a tie for 25th in a strong field that featured nine top-100 teams from a year ago. Bronnenberg made two eagles for the tournament and led the field in par-5 scoring at 8 under par for the week. Through two tournaments this season, he'd leads Ball Stats with a 71.80 scoring average.

Windon Memorial Classic
Eastern Michigan University sophomore Ty Celone continued his string of solid play Monday, Sept. 24, as he carded a one-over 217 to finish tied for 14th-place at the 22nd Windon Memorial Classic, Sept. 24, on the par-72, 7,202-yard Knollwood Club. Celone, who finished third at last week's EKU Raising Canes Intercollegiate, posted a final round 71 for the top spot among EMU golfers. Yesterday, the Mid-American Conference's reigning Golfer of the Week carded rounds of 71 and 75. For Celone, it is his second top-20 showing of the year and the third of his career.

Windon Memorial Classic
Less had his best finish of the fall so far with his 14th-place finish at the Windon Memorial Classic. His first round 70 was his third under-par round of the season. NIU took fourth place in the event, besting power-five programs Michigan, UCLA, Northwestern, Purdue, and Indiana.

Freshman David Amm tied for 11th place at the Inverness Intercollegiate in his first tournament as a Rocket. Amm carded one-over par 72s in his first two rounds before shooting a 75 in his final round. Amm paced the Rockets with 10 birdies in the tournament, including four straight over the first and second rounds.
