After holding a share of the lead after day one, sophomore Ty Celone (Long Sault, Ontario, Canada-St. Joseph's) recorded his second career top-five finish with a four-under 206 (68-69-69). Celone posted a one-under 69 to close our his weekend and match his entire total of rounds at par-or-better from last season.The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team captured its first tournament title in over eight years Sunday, Sept. 16, with a first-place finish at the EKU Raising Canes Intercollegiate. EMU led from wire-to-wire in the victory that saw three Eagles finish inside the top 10. Host Eastern Kentucky finished with a three round total of 848 (+8) followed by Morehead State (862), Murray State (863), and Tennessee-Martin (865).

Rocha was NIU’s top finisher at the Northern Intercollegiate this past weekend at Rich Harvest Farms. The senior tied for 23rd with a three-round score of 221, five strokes over par. Rocha carded a second-round 68, tying his career-low set most recently at the Badger Invitational on Sept. 11.

Ohio sophomore men's golfer Zach Crawford (Vandalia, Ohio) vaulted from a tie for 27th all the way up to seventh place thanks to a career-best 66 (-4) on Sunday (Sept. 16) in the final round of the EKU Intercollegiate presented by Raising Cane's at the University Club at Arlington. His career-best final round gave him a score of 210 (E), which marked the best three-round score of his career. He achieved a top-10 finish for the second time in his career. His final-round 66 tied for the third-best round score in program history. On Saturday (Sept. 15), Crawford posted matching rounds of 72 (+2) to open the tournament. Crawford helped the Bobcats record their best round score of the weekend with a final-round 287 (+7) on Sunday. Ohio finished the EKU Intercollegiate with a combined team score of 873 (+33) and a 10th-place finish. The Bobcats shot identical scores of 293 (+13) in the first two rounds on Saturday.
