BGSU's Vie Named Men's Golfer of the Week

Fuzzy Zoeller Invitational 
Rodrigue Vie shot -7 over three rounds this weekend at the Fuzzy Zoeller Invitational to finish fourth out of 75 golfers at the event. His 67-73-69-209 was the top BG result and he led the team to a third place finish out of 13 teams, including defeating MAC rival Toledo.

Badger Invitational               
DeMarco tied for fifth place at five-under par at the Badger Invitational with a tournament score of 211. He shot under par for the second consecutive day Tuesday, posting a two-under par 70 after shooting a 68 on Monday. His fifth-place finish and three-round score of 211 are both bests for DeMarco as a Huskie. He was fourth in the tournament with 15 birdies and also had an eagle.

Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational        
Senior Ben Sattler was the top finisher for the Ohio men's golf team this week at the 2018 Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational at the Guyan Golf and Country Club in Huntington, W. Va., tying for 14th with a 140 (-2), which marked the best 36-hole tournament score of his collegiate career. He delivered an ace on the par 3 sixth hole en route to a 68 (-3) in the first round on Monday (Sept. 10), matching the best round score of his collegiate career. Sattler followed it up with a final-round 72 (+1) on Tuesday (Sept. 11). The Bobcats finished in a tie for 11th place with Youngstown State with a combined team score of 571 (+3). Ohio followed up a first-round 282 (-2) on Monday with a final-round 289 (+5) on Tuesday. The tournament was shortened from 54 holes to 36 holes due to run impacting course conditions on Monday.
 
Grant Godfrey, Toledo, Sophomore       
Delaware, Ohio (Rutherford B. Hayes) 
Fuzzy Zoeller Invitational     
Sophomore Grant Godfrey led UT at Indiana’s Fuzzy Zoeller Invitational with an even-par 216 (74-71-71) to finish tied for 18th place. The Delaware, Ohio native was on his way to an even better result in the rainy conditions, but registered a triple bogey on his final hole.
