The University at Buffalo volleyball team picked up their first loss of the season on Friday evening as the Bulls fell 3-2 to Cornell in the opening match of the Cornell Invitational. The Bulls are now 3-1 on the year. The Big Red took the match, 19-25, 25-21, 25-20, 20-25, 15-13, as Cornell outhit Buffalo, .190 to .142. The Bulls dominated the first set as junior setter Scout McLerran had 11 assists in the opening set and three different players had four kills.
