2018 Softball Academic All-MAC Team Announced
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2018 Softball Academic All-MAC team Wednesday. A total of 91 student-athletes were honored with this award.
Kent State and Eastern Michigan tied for the most student athletes recognized on the team with 11 a piece, followed by Northern Illinois with 10 and Western Michigan with 9.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
