MAC Announces Men's Tennis Academic All-MAC Team
MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES 2018 MEN’S TENNIS ACADEMIC ALL-MAC TEAM
Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced the 2018 Men’s Tennis Academic All-MAC Team with 23 students honored.
Headlining the list are three students, all from Northern Illinois, recognized as three-time (2016-18) Academic All-MAC selections. Huskie seniors Louis-Philippe Hamel, Tom Hjertonsson and Georg Lundkvist were all recognized for the third time as Academic All-MAC honorees.
Eleven individuals are two-time Academic All-MAC selections with junior’s Conner Andersen, Marko Guzina and Nemanja Guzina of Ball State, junior’s Valentin Bouchet and Ludovico Cestarollo of Binghamton, junior’s Vince Anzalone, Juan Carranza, Serjen Olmedo, Reid Teatsworth and Luka Vitosevic of Toledo and junior Eric Olivarez of Western Michigan.
Nine first year Academic All-MAC selections include sophomore Kushaan Nath and junior Inigo Saez of Binghamton, sophomore Hao Sheng Koay and senior Petr Vodak of Buffalo, sophomore Bor Schweiger Muzar of Northern Illinois, sophomore’s Thawin Suksathaporn and Danilo Vukotic of Toledo and sophomore’s Kennosuke Nouchi and Jannik Opitz of Western Michigan round out the 2018 Academic All-MAC squad.
Nominees must have a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average to be eligible for the team.
