Akron

Akron makes its 26th appearance at the MAC Championships, and the Zips have placed in the Top 5 nine times, including two program-best second place finishes in 2007 and 2014. Akron finished sixth overall last season. The 2018 MAC Championships lineup for the Zips includes junior Elliott Grayson, George Baylis, junior Jacob Appleby, junior Jacob Morgan and sophomore Mitchell McFarland. Grayson leads the squad into battle after posting a team-best 72.31 stroke average through 10 events and 29 rounds this season. He has led the Zips' scoring efforts in six events and will be making his third appearance at the MAC Championships.

Ball State
Ball State finished runner-up last year to Kent State at The Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio, and will take four of the same golfers to this year's event -- seniors Johnny Watts, Michael VanDeventer and Michael Makris, and junior Timothy Wiseman. Between the four of them, they have a combined 10 starts at the MAC Championships. Watts, the 2015 individual league champion as a freshman, finished third a year ago. He again paces the Cardinals this season with a 73.63 stroke average.

Bowling Green
Bowling Green will conclude the season as they compete in the Mid-American Conference Championships in Fort Wayne, Indiana Friday through Sunday. The Falcons have taken the MAC title five times along with three individual championships. Last season the Falcons carded a team score of 1201 to finish ninth. The Falcon Lineup will consist of Mitchell Kontak, Rodrigue Vie, Trey Walker, Nick Hofland and Pablo Heredia Iglesias. Kontak looks to finish his senior season strong as he has been climbing to the top of the Falcon pack throughout the year.

Eastern Michigan
The Eagles finished seventh at the 2017 MAC Championship, posting a three-day cumulative score of 1,192 (303-293-299-297).  Weather was the story of the weekend with more than nine hours of play wiped off the slate due to Mother Nature during the tournament's 72 holes. Kyle Rodes paced the Green and White with a four-over 292 (69-71-75-77) to finish in eighth-place. Playing this weekend for EMU will be White, junior Beau Breault, freshman Cougar Collins, senior Nic Ross, freshman Ty Celone and sophomore Zach Sudinsky.

Kent State
As the 30th ranked team in the nation, Kent State enters the tournament as the favorites to repeat and go on to contend in the NCAA Tournament. The Golden Flashes have reached their elite national ranking through the team's depth. Three of the five golfers in the lineup are ranked in the national top-200, and all five players have led the team at some point this season. Senior Ian Holt is the 19th ranked player in the country and is one of four golfers in this year's field ranked among the top-150. Junior Bjarki Petursson is ranked at 161 and senior Chase Johnson is ranked the 196th player in the nation. 2017 MAC individual champion Gisli Sveinbergsson looks to repeat his success in this year's tournament, while freshman Josh Gilkison will make his first appearance in a postseason run.

Miami
Coach Zedrick’s line-up will consist of senior Patrick Flavin, redshirt junior Brian Ohr, sophomore Cam Solomon, along with freshmen Charlie Nikitas and Jack Herceg.
