Agler and Hudson Earn Player of the Week Honors
East Division
Taylor Agler, Ohio, Guard
R-Senior – Westerville, Ohio/Olentangy Orange
Redshirt senior guard Taylor Agler led Ohio during the final week of the regular season for the Bobcats. Agler averaged 12.0 points a game, 8.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists, while shooting .454 from the field and averaging 37.0 minutes on the floor. On March 3 at Akron, Agler registered her first career double double. Scoring 16 points and grabbing a career-high 13 rebounds. She also had four assists. She shot 6-of-12 form the field and 2-of-4 from three-point range. She also registered two steals in the game. On Feb. 28 against Miami. Agler scored eight points, while grabbing three rebounds and dishing out nine assists and grabbing one steal in 38 minutes on the court.
West Division
Presley Hudson, Central Michigan, Guard
Junior – Wayland, Mich./Wayland
Central Michigan clinched the outright Mid-American Conference regular-season title with two victories to finish the regular season slate. The Chippewas posted a comeback win (88-80) over Ball State on Senior Night in McGuirk Arena, then earned a 72-67 victory at Toledo on Saturday. Junior Presley Hudson averaged 20.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists between the two games. She shot 38.7 percent (12-of-31) from the floor and perfect (11-of-11) from the free throw line. Against the Cardinals, the junior led the team with 26 points to go along with nine boards and five assists in 40 minutes of the floor. Hudson also made seven free throws of the team’s 12 – she was 7-of-7. In the regular-season finale, Hudson scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds in 40 minutes. Central Michigan recorded 18 assists, which Hudson dished out nine of them. Hudson ranks second on the team averaging 18.6 points per game. She leads the conference with 110 3-pointers and is shooting 46.6 percent (110-of-236) from beyond the arc.

Senior – Dover, Ohio/Dover
Monaco began the week leading the Cardinals in scoring with an 18 point performance while pulling down seven rebounds in a near win at Central Michigan Wednesday night. She then ended the week with a double-double scoring 26 points and a having a career high 17 rebounds in the Cardinals 88-63 win at Eastern Michigan Saturday. Monaco also recorded three blocks against the Eagles and shot 55 percent from the field (10-of-18). She also knocked down five 3-pointers and had reached double figures by the half. Monaco helped Brady Sallee make history as he became the winningest coach in program history after Ball State's victory at EMU. For the week, Monaco averaged 22 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks per game. She also pulled down 22 defensive rebounds.
Stephanie Reid, Buffalo, Point Guard
Senior - Melbourne, Australia/The Peninsula School
Senior point guard Stephanie Reid helped lead Buffalo to a perfect 2-0 week as they secured the No. 2 seed for the upcoming MAC Tournament. Reid closed out her week averaging 9.0 points, 5.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals while going 7-for-14 from the field and 2-for-2 from the line. She finished off the blowout win over Kent State with 11 points, four assists and four rebounds before closing out her senior day win over Bowling Green with seven points, seven assists and five steals in her final home game. Reid now ranks 9th in MAC history with 648 career assists.
Deja Wimby, Western Michigan, Point Guard
Junior – Fort Wayne, Ind./Snider
Western Michigan point guard Deja Wimby led the Broncos to a pair of wins this past week, helping the Broncos break out of a four-game losing streak and secure the No. 6 seed and a first round home game in the MAC Tournament. Wimby recorded point-assist double-doubles in each game, averaging 12.5 points, 11.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game, while shooting 47.6 percent from the floor. Of the 159 points scored by WMU in the two games, at least 71 of those ran through Wimby as she tallied 25 points in the two games and her 23 assists led to no fewer than 46 of her teammates' points. In Wednesday's 74-66 victory over Eastern Michigan, she tallied 11 points, a career-high 12 assists, seven rebounds and five steals. Her 12 assists were the most by a Bronco since Taylor Manley handed out 15 against Miami in 2011. On Saturday at Northern Illinois, she helped the Broncos to their largest MAC victory of the season as WMU downed NIU by a 19-point margin, 85-66. It also gave the Broncos' their first season sweep against the Huskies since 2015. Wimby had a double-double for the second straight game with 14 points and 11 assists, while adding three rebounds and a steal. Her 167 assists this season are a career high and rank third most in the MAC this season.
Courtney Woods, NIU, Forward
Junior – Brisbane, Australia/St. Margaret’s Anglican School
Courtney Woods had another outstanding week as she led NIU to a 1-1 record on the week. The Huskie junior averaged 26.5 points a game last week, including a 38-point performance in a victory over Toledo to secure a home game in the first round of the 2018 MAC Tournament. Woods shot .579 percent from the field, going 11-of-19, including 5-of-10 from three-point land and 11-of-14 from the free throw line. The Aussie added five rebounds, four assists and two steals to her tally as well. She wrapped up her week with another double-digit scoring performance in the regular-season finale versus Western Michigan. Woods scored 15 points, dished out eight assists and had four steals.
