Men’s Track Athlete of the Week
Mitchell Moore, Buffalo, 400H
Senior – Ontario, NY/Jamestown

Mitchell Moore won the Dan Stimson Invite in the Men’s 400IH in a MAC auto qualifying mark of 53.41.  He currently ranks #1 in the MAC and #15 in the NCAA East Region.
 
Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Jackie Siefring, Akron, 400H
Senior – Covington, Ohio/Covington

University of Akron senior Jackie Siefring was victorious in the women's 400-meter hurdles at the Roadrunner Invitational crossing the line in 59.04. Her time is the best in the MAC in 2018 and the fifth-fastest in the NCAA.
 
Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
Ian Behm, Akron, Javelin
R-Sophomore – Volant, PA/Wilmington

After missing the 2017 campaign due to injury, Akron redshirt sophomore Ian Behm registered a career-best mark of 231-7 (70.59m) to win the javelin at the Roadrunner Invitational. His effort represented the second-best throw in outdoor program history and leads the MAC, while rating ninth nationally in 2018.
 
Women’s Field Athlete of the Week
Lucy Bryan, Akron, Pole Vault
Junior – Bristol, England/Clifton

Making her collegiate outdoor debut for the Zips, Akron junior Lucy Bryan claimed the women's pole vault at the Roadrunner Invitational eclipsing 13-11.25 (4.25m). Her effort represented the fifth-best mark in women's outdoor program history and the second-best jump nationally in 2018.

Men’s Track
Taron Slone, Akron, 200m
Senior – Columbus, Ohio/Bishop Ready

Against a highly-talented field in the men's 200 meters, Akron senior Taron Slone registered a career-best time of 21.25 to place fifth at the Roadrunner Invitational. His time is the fastest in the MAC in 2018. He also posted a time of 51.35 in the 400 meters.
 

Women’s Track
Remy Amarteifio, NIU, 100H/400H
Sophomore – Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township

NIU sophomore Remy Amarteifio (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) began the season with a Mid-American Conference automatic qualifying time in the 100-meter hurdles as she came in second with a time of 13.97 seconds. She also ran the 400-meter hurdles in 1:03.63 where she took third place.
 
Sarah Anderson, Western Michigan, 800m
Junior – Grand Rapids, Mich./Forest Hills Central

Sarah Anderson opened the season with strong performances in the 800-meter run and as a member of the 4x400-meter relay. Anderson took second overall and first collegiately in the 800, running the MAC's fastest time so far this season at 2:11.65. Anderson was later a part of the winning 4x400 squad that ran a combined time of 3:45.86, the second-fastest in the conference.
 
Selina Von Jackowski, Buffalo, 100H
Junior – Pfeffingen, Switzerland/Intermational School of Basel

Selina Von Jackowski won the Dam Stimson Invite in the Women’s 100HH in a MAC Auto Qualifying mark of 14.02, ranking #2 in the MAC.  Selina also won the Long Jump in MAC leading performance of 18’8”.
 

Men’s Field
Devon Patterson, Buffalo, Shot Put
Senior – Williamsville, NY/Williamsville South

Devon Patterson won the Dan Stimson Invite in the men’s SP in a MAC Auto qualifying mark of 58’4.75”.  He currently ranks #1 in the MAC and #10 in the NCAA East Region.
 

Women’s Field
Brittany Casey, Western Michigan, Hammer Throw
Senior – Zeeland, Mich./Zeeland East

Brittany Casey started off her senior outdoor season with a strong finish in the hammer throw at the Victor Lopez Classic. Casey took sixth overall and threw a MAC-best distance of 52.21m (171' 3") to have the best finish of any Bronco in the throwing events over the weekend.
 
Miranda Daucher, Buffalo, Discus/Hammer Throw
Senior- Alden, NY/Alden

Miranda Daucher was a double winner at the Dan Stimson Invite.  In the Discus, Miranda through 170’8”, which currently is #1 in the MAC and #5 in the NCAA East Region. She also won the Hammer throw in 168’0” which currently is #1 in the MAC.
 
Kenyae Majors, NIU, Long Jump
Freshman – Burlington, NC/High Cummings

NIU freshman Kenyae Majors (Burlington, N.C./Hugh Cummings) tied the program’s long jump record of 5.84 meters (19' 2.00") in her first collegiate outdoor competition as the Huskies competed at the UT Arlington Bobby Lane Invitational, on Saturday.
