Mid-American Conference

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2018 Men’s Indoor Track & Field Academic All-MAC team on Friday.
 
A total of 51 student-athletes were named to this year’s team with Central Michigan leading the conference, having 13 student-athletes receiving recognition.
 
Buffalo’s John McCarty sits on top of the 2018 team with a 3.99 GPA in biological studies program.
 
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
