East Division
Cassie Oursler, Buffalo, Center
Senior – Grand Island, NY/Grand Island

Senior center Cassie Oursler continued her strong play down low for the Bulls last week as she was able to guide UB to a 2-0 week as they tied a program record for wins in a season with 23. Oursler closed out her impressive week averaging 16.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks while also shooting 66.7% from the floor and a perfect 8-for-8 from the charity stripe. The Grand Island native had a huge game on Wednesday as UB downed Bowling Green as she notched her eighth double-double of the season with 20 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks while going 8-for-11 from the floor. The 20-point effort for Oursler was her fourth of the season, a new career-high. In the come-from-behind victory on Saturday, Oursler was slowed by some foul trouble but was still able to record 12 points and nine rebounds in just 20 minutes of work while going 4-for-7 from the floor. The senior is having a career-year for the Bulls as she is averaging 13.9 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks across an average of 26.0 minutes/game.

West Division
Presley Hudson, Central Michigan, Guard
Junior – Wayland, Mich./Wayland

Junior guard Presley Hudson had a career week helping the Chippewas to two Mid-American Conference wins to improve to 23-4 overall with a 15-1 MAC mark. CMU defeated NIU, 91-77, on Wednesday, Feb. 21 and then topped Western Michigan, 78-82, on Saturday in Kalamazoo. Hudson averaged 24.0 points, seven assists and five rebounds between the two games. She went 16-of-27 (59.3 percent) from the field and 4-of-4 from the free throw line. Hudson also drained 12 3-pointers on 16 attempts (75 percent) over the week. On Wednesday, the junior chipped in 17 points, including five 3-pointers, and dished out a CMU single-game record 13 assists in 39 minutes on the court. Then, the Wayland, Mich. native scored a season-high 31 points to the lead the Chippewas against the Broncos. Hudson went 10-of-13 from the field, which included seven triples, in 31 minutes of the play. She broke the CMU single-season record with 105 triples passing former Chippewa Niki DiGuilio (2010-14) who led the record with 100. Hudson leads the team with 105 3-pointers and ranks second averaging 18.4 points per game.

Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott, Toledo, Guard
Senior – London, England/Greig City Academy

Senior Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott averaged a team-high 22.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 0.5 steals in two games this past week. Bravo-Harriott shot 59.3 percent (16-of-27) from the field, including 52.9 percent (9-of-17) from three-point land, and 80.0 percent (4-of-5) from the charity stripe in 31.5 minutes per contest. The two-time All-MAC honoree opened the week with five treys and a squad-best 26 points, six boards and three helpers vs. Eastern Michigan on Wednesday. Three days later against Ball State, Bravo-Harriott contributed 19 points, two caroms and one theft in 38 minutes. She has now scored in double figures in each of the last four games and on 18 occasions overall this year. 
 
Cierra Hooks, Ohio, Guard
Freshman – Dayton, Ohio/Thurgood Marshall

Hooks led the Bobcats across the board once again during this past week, averaging 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.0 blocks and 5.5 steals per game. She shot .466 from the field. She also became the single seasons steals leader in Ohio history on Feb. 21 against Kent State. On Feb. 21 against Kent State, Hooks scored 21 points, with 18 of those points coming in the second half. She went 10-of-19 from the field, while grabbing two rebounds, dishing out a career-high eight assists and resister a career-tying nine steals in the 79-79 victory. With those nine steals, Hooks became the single season record hold in steals, currently sitting with 97 on the season. On Feb. 24 at Buffalo, Hooks scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while registering a block and two steals.
 
Jordan Korinek, Kent State, Forward
Senior – Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/St Vincent-St. Mary

Jordan Korinek averaged 21.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game to lead Kent State to a victory over rival Akron and a 1-point loss on the road to Ohio this past week. Korinek was nearly unstoppable around the basket, converting 71.4 percent of her shot attempts overall in addition to going 1-for-1 from 3-point distance and a perfect 11-for-11 at the foul line. The All-MAC forward made all 9 of her field goal attempts and finished with a game-high 26 points to go with 9 rebounds on Wednesday night in Athens. Korinek assisted on a 3-pointer with 3:49 remaining that gave the Golden Flashes their first lead since the opening minutes of the contest. On Senior Day, Korinek posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds to take down the rival Zips. She added a crucial block and a pair of free throws in the final minute to hold off a late Akron rally.
 
Kendall McCoy, Miami, Forward
Junior – Sylvania, Ohio/Northview

Kendall McCoy helped Miami to a 2-0 record this week as she led the RedHawks in both scoring (19.0 ppg) and rebounds (5.5 rpg). She began the week with a 13-point, 7-rebound performance at Akron. On Saturday against Bowling Green, she went off for a career-high 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting. She also drained a career-high five three-pointers as Miami posted a season-high 92 points in a 28-point RedHawk win.
 
Danielle Minott, Eastern Michigan, Guard
R-Junior – Miami, Fla./Miami Country Day

Redshirt junior Danielle Minott (Miami, Fla.-Miami Country Day) once again paced the Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team in games at Toledo and against Northern Illinois, Fe.b 21-24. The Miami, Fla. native poured in a team-best 30 points on the road versus UT. Minott knocked down seven triples against the Rockets, the fifth-most in EMU single-game history. Her 70 percent shooting from long range also tied her for eighth-best in EMU annals. She followed that performance up with the first double-double of her career, an 18 point, 12 rebound effort at home against NIU. Minott now has 409 points this season, the most of any Eagle, as well as the 10th-most by a junior in Eastern Michigan history.
 
Breanna Mobley, Western Michigan, Forward
Junior – Lansing, Mich./Lansing Waverly

Forward Breanna Mobley of the Western Michigan women’s basketball team led the Broncos in almost every statistical category last week. The junior averaged 11 points and six rebounds all while shooting 41.7 percent from the floor. At Ball State on Wednesday, Mobley scored 10 points to go along with a team-high five rebounds before notching 12 points and seven rebounds against Central Michigan on Saturday. Mobley has scored in double figures for 20 straight games and all but three games this entire season. The 8-ranked MAC leading scorer leads WMU this season averaging 15.9 ppg and 8.4 rpg. 
 
Jasmin Samz, Ball State, Guard
Junior – Wausau, Wis./Wausau West

Samz has led the Cardinals in four-straight contests all resulting in wins these past two weeks in Mid-American Conference action. She helped Ball State defeat Western Michigan and Toledo in league action this past week helping the Cardinals earn a first round by to the upcoming 2018 MAC Tournament in Cleveland.  Samz started the week off with a 17-point performance off of 3-of-4 shooting from behind the arc and 6-of-7 from the charity stripe, in the Cardinals 85-58 win over Western Michigan Wednesday.  On Saturday, the junior guard led the Cardinals with a career best 20-point performance after shooting 8-of-12 (67 percent) from the field and 3-of-4 (75 percent) from 3-point range for the 78-73 victory over Toledo.   For the week, Samz averaged 18.5 points per game while shooting 63 percent (12-of-19) from the field and 75 percent (6-of-8) from the 3-point line.  She also shot 87 percent from the free throw line.  Samz helped the Cardinals improved to 23-4 overall and 12-4 in league play.
 
Courtney Woods, NIU, Forward
Junior – Brisbane, Australia/St. Margaret’s Anglican School

Courtney Woods was a force for NIU, averaging 26.5 points, seven rebounds and seven-and-a-half assists as she helped lead the Huskies to a 1-1 record last week. The Huskie junior began the week scoring 30 points and grabbing six rebounds and dishing out six assists in NIU's 91-77 setback at Central Michigan. It was her fifth 30-point game of the season. She followed that performance up at Eastern Michigan by almost recording a triple-double. The Aussie scored 23 points, handed out a career-high nine assists and eight rebounds as NIU posted an 84-75 win over the Eagles. Of her 14 boards on the week, 13 came on the defensive end. In addition to shooting 43.2 percent from the field, Woods went 50 percent from three-point territory, going 8-of-16 beyond the arc.
