Stephen Suglio, Kent State—Senior, Richfield, Ohio (Revere High School)
Kent State senior Stephen Suglio recently filled in at heavyweight in the lineup and went 2-0 in MAC duals this past weekend. Suglio helped the Golden Flashes upset No. 16 Central Michigan 21-13 Sunday with a second period pin against No. 18 Matt Stencel. On Friday, Suglio scored a third period, buzzer-beating takedown to defeat Old Dominion’s Ali Wahab 6-4. On the season, Suglio improved to 16-8 overall and 6-3 in dual meets.

CJ Brucki, Central Michigan—Senior, Orland Park, Ill. (Sandburg High School)
Central Michigan senior CJ Brucki posted two dual-meet victories, the first a 17-2 technical fall over Eastern Michigan’s Andrew McNally, and the second a 9-4 win over Dylan Berreiro of Kent State. The win against Eastern Michigan was his third technical fall of the season. The two wins upped Brucki’s win streak to four matches as he improved to 21-9 on the season including 6-1 in the MAC. Brucki is ranked No. 2 in the MAC and 15th nationally by InterMat.com.
Caleb Richardson, Old Dominion—Senior, Virginia Beach, Va.
Old Dominion senior Caleb Richardson most recently defeat No. 16 Cameron Kelly, 5-2 with a takedown on Sunday in the Monarchs win over Ohio. Richardson is 3-7 against ranked wrestlers in the recently released coaches’ poll ranking.
