Shane Jones, Old Dominion—Junior, Stroudsburg, Pa.
Old Dominion junior Shane Jones took a third-place finish at 165 lbs. at the Reno Tournament of Champions, including three straight wins in bonus points. Jones faced a setback in the semifinals to No. 10 Chandler Rogers of Oklahoma State but bounced back in the third-place match with a 6-4 win by decision to go 4-1 on the day in Nevada.

Ohio redshirt freshman Alec Hagan at 149 lbs. helped the Bobcats (2-2) overcome Chattanooga, 22-19, in their 2018-19 home opener on Dec. 20 at the Convocation Center. With the Bobcats trailing 19-13 after three-straight wins by Chattanooga, Hagan came up big for Ohio at 149 pounds, pinning freshman Mason Wallace in just 45 seconds to even the score back up. The fall marked Hagans second of the season.
