Ball State // BG Opener
The Ball State track & field program had one goal in mind for Saturday's Bowling Green Opener; setting a strong tone for the 2018-19 indoor season. The Cardinals did just that Saturday evening at BGSU's Perry Field House, winning seven events, posting a pair of Mid-American Conference Indoor Championship automatic qualifying marks and establishing a new program record. "I was really impressed with how much pride and passion we competed with today," Ball State head coach Brian Etelman said. "We won seven total events, and you always have to feel good about getting wins head-to-head against other MAC schools."

Bowling Green // BG Opener
The Bowling Green State University indoor track and field team won five events and earned three Mid-American Conference automatic qualifying marks as the Falcons opened the season Saturday evening by hosting the BG Opener. Bowling Green hosted Miami, Ball State and Cleveland State in an unscored meet.

Miami // BG Opener
The Miami University women's track and field team got their indoor season underway Saturday night at Bowling Green's BG Opener. The RedHawks were one of four teams in attendance, competing against Ball State, Cleveland State, and the host Falcons in an unscored meet. The 'Hawks best result of the night came in the 300 meter, where junior Olivia Bechtel took the victory with a 39.53 time.
