The Ball State women's basketball team (1-3) fell to Fordham (3-2) by a score of 78-70 despite only trailing by one to the Rams with under a minute remaining, in the opening game of the 2018 Gulf Coast Showcase. The Cardinals didn't lose due to lack of effort. Ball State had led the entire first half but the Rams shot 50 percent (9-of-18) from the field in the third quarter while defensively holding Ball State to just 20 percent (3-of-15) which ended up to be the deciding factor.

Bowling Green 80, Costal Carolina 81 // Box Score
DJ Williams made a pair of free throws with 5.9 seconds remaining, lifting host Coastal Carolina University to an 81-80 win over the foul-plagued Bowling Green State University women's basketball team Friday afternoon (Nov. 23). The game, the opening contest of the Coastal Carolina Tournament, was held at the HTC Center. Williams led all players with 26 points on the afternoon, and paced four double-digit scorers for the Chanticleers (3-1). Senior Sydney Lambert led the Falcons (3-2) with 21 points, while freshman Morgan McMillenhad 15 points and sophomore Angela Perry12 for the Brown and Orange. Four BGSU post players fouled out of the game.

Buffalo 73, Georgetown 64 // Box Score
Cierra Dillard scored a season-high 33 points to help lead the University at Buffalo women's basketball team to a 73-64 win over Georgetown at the South Point Shootout in Las Vegas on Friday. It was Dillard's second straight 30-point game as the senior guard had 32 points at Oregon on Sunday. The Bulls never trailed the Hoyas as they came out of the gates knocking down their shots. Buffalo's first nine points came via the three-pointer as Courtney Wilkins, Theresa Onwuka and Dillard each knocked down a triple to open the Bulls' scoring. An Autumn Jones jumper gave the Bulls a 19-11 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Ohio 70, St. Bonaventure 53 // Box Score
The Ohio women's basketball team (4-0) remained unbeaten after knocking off St. Bonaventure (2-3), 70-53, in the Denver Thanksgiving Classic today. The Bobcats shot 43.9 percent (25-of-57) from the floor and knocked down 10 three-pointers while limiting the Bonnies to just 34 percent (18-of-53) from the field. Ohio outrebounded St. Bonaventure, 35-32, and turned 19 turnovers by the Bonnies into 20 points.
