Reyna Frost posted a double-double and Maddy Watters hit two critical late 3-pointers as the Central Michigan women's basketball team surged past UCF, 75-68, in a nonconference game on Wednesday at McGuirk Arena. The Chippewas, who are ranked sixth in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25, improved to 3-1. UCF is also 3-1. The Chippewas trailed 66-61 when Watters hit her first bucket of the game, a 3-pointer, with 3:07 remaining. Watters hit another triple with 1:49 left to give CMU a 67-66 lead. Watters' triples not only put CMU in front, but it gave the Chippewas a shot of momentum and brought the crowd of 1,600-plus into the game.

Eastern Michigan 59, Iowa State 85 // Box Score
The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team could not find a rhythm, as it fell to Preseason WNIT Champion Iowa State University in a neutral site contest at the St. Clair College Health Plex Wednesday night, Nov. 21. Eastern (2-1) kept it tight early on before a fourth quarter push came up short, 85-59, in front of a sold out crowd. Redshirt sophomore Corrione Cardwell (Cleveland, Ohio- New Tech East)put together a career-night, as she led the Eagles with career-best 25 points on 11-of-23 shooting. Cardwell also contributed seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals in a well-rounded effort. Sophomore Courtnie Lewis (Belton, Mo.- Belton) chipped 17 points, three rebounds, and two steals, while sophomore Juanita Agosto (Seattle, Wash.-Garfield)and freshman Natalia Pineda (Miami, Fla.-John A. Ferguson) added seven points apiece.

Toledo 49, Dayton 70 // Box Score
Toledo dropped a 70-49 decision at Atlantic 10 power Dayton on Wednesday in UD Arena. With the loss, the Rockets fall to 2-2 on the season. Junior Sara Rokkanen paced UT with 11 points, followed closely by seniors Kaayla McIntyre and Mikaela Boyd with 10 and nine points, respectively. Boyd just missed posting her first double-double of the year, finishing with a season-high 11 boards.
