The University at Buffalo volleyball team put forth one of their most impressive wins of the season on Friday evening as the Bulls swept Kent State 3-0, in front of 506 fans at Alumni Arena. The victory improves UB's record to 15-10 and 7-6 in MAC play with three regular season matches remaining. The Bulls took the contest, 25-17, 25-14, 25-18, as they held Kent State to a -.051 hitting percentage, the lowest by a Buffalo opponent this season. The Bulls on the other hand hit .215 for the night.

The sweet taste of success and revenge, and a signal that perhaps Central Michigan volleyball has turned the corner. Savannah Thompson and Lyza Myers had 12 kills each on Friday as the Chippewas knocked off Mid-American Conference West Division-leading Ball State in three sets at McGuirk Arena. The Chippewas topped the Cardinals, 25-22, 25-22, 25-23 to avenge an earlier three-set loss and end Ball State's win streak at three matches. The Cardinals had not dropped a set in their three-match win streak.

Eastern Michigan 3, Toledo 0 // Box Score
The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team cruised past the University of Toledo in straight sets inside the Convocation Center Friday night, Nov. 2. The Eagles (15-12, 7-6 MAC) led early and never looked back, grounding the Rockets (9-15 (4-9 MAC) 25-17, 25-22, and 25-18. Eastern overpowered Toledo in nearly every statistical category, including a stout .310 hitting percentage to UT's .135. EMU also finished with more kills (47 to 29), digs (53 to 49), and service aces (6 to 3).

Senior right side hitter Stephanie Olman (Maumee, Ohio) matched her career high with 16 kills as the Ohio volleyball (12-14, 7-6 MAC) ran its winning streak to three in a row with a 3-1 (25-18, 14-25, 25-11, 26-24) victory over Mid-American Conference East Division rival Akron (11-13, 3-10 MAC) tonight at James A. Rhodes Arena. The Bobcats swept the 2018 regular season series from the Zips. Ohio swept Akron, 3-0, (25-21, 25-14, 25-22), on Sept. 29 in the first meeting of the season between the teams at the Convocation Center in Athens. The Bobcats have now won 17-straight against the Zips and have swept the regular season series from Akron in each of the last eight seasons.
