DETROIT -- Justin Turner scored 21 points and Demajeo Wiggins had a putback at the buzzer to help Bowling Green beat Hampton 81-79 on Monday night in a sub-regional game of the Legends Classic.

Daeqwon Plowden tied his career highs with 11 points and eight rebounds for Bowling Green (3-2).
Turner made three consecutive layups -- the last of which gave the Falcons their first lead since 4-2 -- during an 11-1 run that made it 77-73 when he hit Antwon Lillard for a jumper with 1:01 to play. Kalin Fisher hit a 3-pointer seven seconds later and, after a BGSU turnover, his jumper with 22 seconds left made it 79-all.
