Jaydin Eierman, Missouri—Junior, Columbia, Mo. (Father Tolton High School)

 
Missouri junior Jaydin Eierman at 141 lbs. landed a third period pin against No. 7 ranked Sa’Derian Perry of Old Dominion on Sunday, Nov. 11. After a scoreless first period, Eierman landed two takedowns to take the lead in the second.  Eierman remained dominant through the third, with a quick escape and takedown. Quickly after, he put his opponent in a cradle and earned the fall with 5:05 left in the third. This was Eierman’s 22nd pin of his career, and his second victory of the season against a ranked opponent.

Derek Spann, Buffalo—Sophomore, Boonville, N.Y. (Adirondak High School)

 
Buffalo sophomore Derek Spann went 3-0 at the Bucknell Duals on Sunday. The redshirt-sophomore was dominant in three matches, winning by a pin and two major decisions. Spann won his first match with a third-period pin over Armando Torres of Cleveland State. His next win was a 16-7 major decision over VMI’s Hunter Starner. In final match, he earned an 11-0- major decision over Bucknell’s Brett Rezendes.
 
Brit Wilson, Northern Illinois—Redshirt Freshman, Mexico, Mo. (Mexico High School)
 
Northern Illinois redshirt freshman Brit Wilson scored the lone victory in its setback to No. 22 North Dakota State. The Huskie redshirt-freshman posted an impressive 15-4 major decision over No. 24 Lorenzo De La Riva at 174. It was his second victory over a ranked foe this season.
 
Colt Yinger, Ohio—Freshman, Nelsonville, Ohio (Nelsonville-York High School)
 
Ohio freshman Colt Yinger recorded a 16-6 major decision win over Campbell freshman Cameron Pine at 165. Yinger’s major decision victory helped the Bobcats’ lead grow to 7-0, but Ohio ultimately fell to host Campbell, 19-13, in its first dual meet of the 2018-19 season last Saturday (Nov. 10) at Carter Gym in Buies Creek, N.C.
