Ball State 3, Western Michigan 0 // Box Score
With some of the greatest players in program history in attendance, the Ball State women's volleyball team honored the storied tradition of the program with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-23, 25-21) sweep of perennial Mid-American Conference power Western Michigan Saturday night in Worthen Arena. In leading the Cardinals (19-6, 10-2 MAC) to their third consecutive and 14th overall sweep of the season, junior setter Amber Seaman hit a pair of career milestones versus the Broncos (13-13, 3-9 MAC).

Buffalo 3, Bowling Green 2 // Box Score
The University at Buffalo volleyball team found itself in a five-set match for the second straight night on the road, but the Bulls were victorious on Saturday night as UB scored a 3-2 win over Bowling Green.  With the victory, Buffalo is now 14-10 on the year and 6-6 in league play. The Bulls took the contest 18-25, 25-23, 25-16, 19-25, 15-11 as UB outhit Bowling Green .181 to .152. After the Falcons won the first set easily, the Bulls fought their way back in the second. Leading 8-6, UB went on a quick 5-0 run as a kill from junior Kristina Nieves gave Buffalo the 13-6 advantage.  Buffalo continued to lead 23-19 before Bowling Green tied it up with four straight points.  The Bulls answered by scoring the final two points of the set, clinching it on a block from Rachel Sanks and Megan Wernette.

Kent State 3, Central Michigan 2 // Box Score
Kent State concluded a successful four-match homestand by defeating Central Michigan, 3-2 (25-21, 25-21, 22-25, 23-25, 15-10), Saturday at the M.A.C. Center. The Golden Flashes (12-14, 5-7 MAC) went 3-1 during the homestand and have won four of their last six matches overall.

Miami 3, Akron 0 // Box Score
The Miami University volleyball team made it nine straight victories in a row as it cruised to a 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-19) win over Akron on Saturday. The RedHawks improve to 19-5 overall and 11-1 in the Mid-American Conference. The Zips fall to 11-12 overall and 3-9 in the MAC. The Miami defense led the 'Hawks to the victory. The Red and White held Akron to a .138 attack percentage as the Zips were able to manage only 25 kills during the entire match.

Northern Illinois 3, Toledo 1 // Box Score
The Northern Illinois University volleyball team got back to its winning ways Saturday night, defeating the Toledo Rockets 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-16, 25-15) at Savage Arena. Meg Wolowicz (Manitowoc, Wis./Manitowoc Lincoln) led all players with 16 kills, hitting .245 with 10 digs. Jori Radtke (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Stevenson) added 10 kills and seven digs. Grace Balensiefer (Lafayette, Ind./McCutcheon) led the Huskies with 29 assists as Amanda Krahl(Pearland, Texas/Appalachian State) chipped in with 12 assists and 12 digs. Miranda Karlen(Evansville, Wis./Evansville) led the match with 25 digs while Chrystal McAlpin (Calumet Park, Ill./Shepard) led all players with six blocks.

Ohio 3, Eastern Michigan 0 // Box Score
The Ohio volleyball team (11-14, 6-6 MAC) wrapped up the sixth weekend of Mid-American Conference play with another 3-0 (25-14, 27-25, 25-13) sweep, this time of West Division opponent Eastern Michigan (14-12, 6-6 MAC) tonight at the Convocation Center. Redshirt senior outside Jaime Kosiorek (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) led the Bobcats with a match-high 11 kills on 26 attempts for a .308 hitting percentage recorded a match-high four service aces and also chipped in nine digs to finish just shy of a double-double. Followed closely behind, sophomore middle blocker Tia Jimerson (Sugar Hill, Ga.) registered 10 kills on 17 attempts for a .353 hitting percentage and also posted two total blocks (one solo, one assisted). Senior right side hitter Stephanie Olman(Maumee, Ohio) compiled eight kills and a team-high three total assisted blocks while junior outside hitter Lizzie Stephens (Dallas, Texas) also compiled eight kills, two service aces, two total blocks (one solo, one assisted) and chipped in seven digs and for the Bobcats.
