Central Michigan volleyball earned their second-straight win, defeating Eastern Michigan 17-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-23 Thursday at the Eagles' Convocation Center. CMU improves to 5-18, 2-9 in the Mid-American Conference. EMU falls to 14-11, 6-5.

The Ohio volleyball team (10-14, 5-6 MAC) opened up the sixth weekend of Mid-American Conference play with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-17) sweep of East Division opponent Kent State (11-14, 4-7 MAC) tonight at the M.A.C Center. Senior right-side hitter Stephanie Olman (Maumee, Ohio) led the Bobcats with a match-high 12 kills on 21 attempts for a .571 hitting percentage. Sophomore middle blocker Tia Jimerson (Sugar Hill, Ga.) followed closely behind with 10 kills on 16 atttempts for a .500 hitting percentage alongside a match-high four total blocks (two solo, two assisted). Junior outside hitter Lizzie Stephens (Dallas, Texas) added nine kills and 13 digs while redshirt senior outside hitter Jaime Kosiorek (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) and redshirt freshman middle blocker Dahlias Bouyer (Brownstown, Mich.) both added eight kills apiece.
