Female Scholar Athlete of the Week: October 15th – 21st, 2018

Ball State's Tristin Stuteville, Soccer (Senior, 4.00 Graduate School / 3.016 Undergraduate School, Masters in Athletics Coaching Education)
Tristin Stuteville continues to lead what has been a dominant Ball State defense of late, guiding the Cardinals to six straight wins … Over the team’s current six-game winning streak, the senior has tallied four shutouts and held the opposition to a 0.33 goals-per-game average … Last week, Stuteville went 2-0 in goal to guide the Cardinals to road wins at Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan … She tallied three saves against the Chippewas, and three saves and a clean sheet against the Eagles … The Kansas City native now has seven shutouts on the year and needs just three more to become the program’s single-season leader in that category … In addition, her 12 career shutouts are tied for fifth in program history with Aubrey Buehler (2010-12) … Stuteville has been a key part in the Cardinals climbing the MAC standings to number two, and anchored the defense that owns the longest active winning streak in the MAC.
