Bjarki Petursson led the Flashes' efforts in the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate with a tied for 12 finish at 7-under 209 score. With Petursson's help, the Flashes had their first top-5 finish of the season and second top-10. Petursson shot two rounds in the 60's and opened the tournament with a career-best 6-under 66 score after going 17 holes for par or less. Petursson led the team firing seven birdies, two of which were back-to-back on two separate occasions. In the second round, he shot a 3-under par 69. He ended the tournament with a team-high 13 birdies. Ranked 32nd in the nation, Petursson has gone five rounds for par or better, with three in the 60's. On the season, his average score is 69.17.

Chatham Hills Collegiate
Keegan Bronnenberg tied for 18th to lead Ball State at the Chatham Hills Collegiate, an event that featured seven top-100 teams according to the Golfweek rankings. Bronnenberg fired a 54-hole total of 215 (-1). He played steady throughout the event, leading the field in pars. Bronnenberg has recorded a score of par or better in seven consecutive rounds and nine of 11 competitive rounds this fall. He leads the Cardinals with a 71.55 scoring average.
Beau Breault, Eastern Michigan

Chatham Hills Collegiate
Eastern Michigan University senior Beau Breault (Hartland, Mich.-Hartland) returned to his string of solid play Monday, Oct. 15, as he carded a three-round total of 213 to finish tied for sixth-place at the Chatham Hills Collegiate on the par 72, 7,215-yard Club at Chatham Hills course. The 11-team field featured seven of the top-100 in the Golfweek rankings. For Breault, it was his second top-10 showing of the year and the fifth of his career, as he pieced together rounds of 72, 73 and 68 for the top spot among EMU golfers.
Charlie Nikitas, Miami

Chatham Hills Collegiate
Nikitas once again led Miami with a solid two-under performance at the Chatham Hills Collegiate. He finished tied for 12th overall. The tournament started with a two-under round of 70, his fourth under par round of the season. Nikitas followed that up with two straight rounds of even par 72 to finish the week.
Paul Schlimm, Northern Illinois

Chatham Hills Collegiate
Schlimm tied his best career finish as a Huskie, and carded his best 54-hole score, at the Chatham Hills Collegiate. The senior tied for 20th, finishing with an even-par 216. After posting back-to-back rounds of 73 on Sunday, Schlimm had a two-under par 70 to get to even for the tournament. His previous top-20 finish came at last season's Boilermaker Invitational.
Zach Crawford, Ohio

Crawford continued the strong start to his second collegiate season and helped the Ohio men's golf team place second at the Phoenix Intercollegiate, which was held at Alamance Country Club in Burlington, N.C. Crawford helped the Bobcats a combined team score of 848 (-4) -- the second-best three-round total in program history. On Monday (Oct. 15), the Bobcats improved upon a first-round 290 (+6) that had them in a tie for eighth with a second-round 279 (-5) that advanced them four spots on the leaderboard. Carding another 279 (-5) in the final round on Tuesday (Oct. 16) helped Ohio advance two more spots on the leaderboard and marked the second top-three finish for the Bobcats in the last three weeks under the direction of first-year head coach Carter Cheves. Crawford vaulted 15 spots on the leaderboard thanks to a final-round 66 (-5) that helped him tie for seventh with a 209 (-4). On Monday, Crawford tallied round scores of 73 (+2) and 70 (-1). His final-round 66 matched the best round score of his career and tied him again for the third-best round score in program history. Crawford posted his second top-seven finish of the fall season.
