Grant Leeth, Missouri—Junior, Kearney, Mo. (Kearney High School)

 
Missouri junior Grant Leeth continued his winning ways at 149 lbs. with his 11th consecutive win on Saturday, defeating No. 3-ranked Justin Oliver of Central Michigan, 3-1, to help Mizzou seal the MAC Regular Season Conference Title. With the win, Mizzou improved to 16-2 on the season and 13-0 in dual competition, with two wins coming by technical fall and one by fall. The win over Oliver was Leeth’s fifth over a ranked opponent this season and matches the highest ranked opponent Leeth has beaten in his career. This season, Leeth has also defeated No. 17 Eric Barone (Illinois), 6-2, on Nov. 4, No. 5 Solomon Chishko (Virginia Tech), 8-2, on Nov. 25, No. 21 Sam Krivus (Virginia), 3-1, on Nov. 26, and No. 3 Troy Heilmann (North Carolina), 6-3, on Dec. 29.

Matt Stencel, Central Michigan—RS Freshman, Oregon, Ohio (Clay High School)

 
Central Michigan redshirt freshman Matt Stencel went 2-0 in two MAC duals over the weekend. He posted a 9-2 victory over Jake Bohlken of Missouri on Friday. It was one of two Central Michigan victories in the dual with the third-ranked Tigers. On Sunday, Stencel pinned Buffalo’s Ian James in 1:06 to cap a 26-9 Chippewa victory. Stencel, who is ranked 20th by InterMat.com, is 22-11 on the season with 12 falls.
 
Tomas Gutierrez, Eastern Michigan—RS Freshman, Arvada, Colorado (Pomona High School)
 
Eastern Michigan redshirt freshman Tomas Gutierrez posted a top performances in the Eagles' dominating 30-3 win over Northern Illinois on Jan. 19. Gutierrez knocked off nationally ranked Brock Hudkins of NIU, who came into the match 19th in the country and first in the MAC, by decision, 5-3.
 
Isaac Bast, Kent State—Junior, Massillon, Ohio (Massillon Perry High School)
 
Kent State junior Isaac Bast went 2-0 on the weekend, helping Kent State to an 18-13 victory at Ohio Friday. Bast defeated Joe Terry 6-3 to help the Golden Flashes take a string of five straight victories over the Bobcats. On Sunday, Bast went into a hostile environment for a dual meet at Oklahoma State and topped Dalton Moran 7-1. He improved to 11-7 in dual meets and 2-1 in MAC duals.
 
Cameron Kelly, Ohio—Junior, Bellbrook, Ohio (Bellbrook High School)
 
Ohio junior Cameron Kelly added two wins to his season tally with an exciting 18-0 technical fall victory over Northern Illinois’ Alijah Jeffery and a 16-3 major decision win over Kent State’s Anthony Tutolo. Kelly started the match against Jeffry with a takedown to lead 2-0 early on in the first period followed by a two-point near fall to increase his lead to 4-0 before the second period. Kelly then quickly escaped starting the second period followed by another takedown to lead 7-0 going into the last period. Kelly then landed a takedown to start the third period to lead 9-0 before hitting a four-point near fall to lead by 13-0. Jeffery could not score throughout the match, allowing Kelly to hit a four-point near fall to lead 17-0 with an added point for riding time to take an 18-0 technical fall win for the Bobcats. In the match against Tutolo, Kelly earned a takedown right away to lead 2-0 early on before Tutolo scored an escape to shorten Kelly's lead to 2-1 in the first. Kelly earned a two-point takedown shortly after, but Tutolo hit another escape before the first period ended to bring Kelly's lead to 4-2 going into the second period. Tutolo landed a one-point escape to start the second period and Kelly responded with another two-point takedown to increase his lead to 6-3 at the end of the second period. In the third period, Kelly started the period with an escape before earning a two-point takedown followed by a four-point near fall to lead 13-3. Kelly hit another two-point near fall to increase his lead to 15-3 before he added a point for riding time to take the match 16-3 in a major decision win for the Bobcats.
 
Kenan Carter, Old Dominion—Junior, Aurora, Ill. (Metea Valley High School)
 
Old Dominion junior Kenan Carter went 2-0 this past week at the 149-lb. weight class. On Friday, Carter contributed to the Monarchs win over MAC opponent Buffalo with a win by decision over Nick Palumbo. On Sunday, Carter clinched the win for Old Dominion with a pin over Elijah Murray of American. He’s collected nine team points for the Monarchs during their duals against Buffalo and American.
