MAC Names Renee Dubuc Director of Institutional Services

MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE NAMES RENEE DUBUC AS DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTIONAL SERVICES
 
Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced today the addition of Renee Dubuc as Director of Institutional Services.  Dubuc joins the Conference office from California State University, Sacramento where she served as Director of Compliance.
 
Dubuc will bring three years of experience in athletics compliance and academic services to the Conference office. In her role, Dubuc will be the primary administrator for rules education on MAC and NCAA rules and interpretations. She will assist in monitoring and developing materials related to proposed and adopted NCAA legislation, and provide interpretations of NCAA and MAC rules for membership.
 
Dubuc joins the MAC from California State University, Sacramento, where she created and implemented compliance policies and procedures, ensured proper departmental monitoring and presented educational materials for contact with student-athletes, coaches, athletics staff and boosters. She managed internal staffing allocations according to NCAA bylaws, provided Title IX materials and provided interpretations for legislation related to all sports and athletic staff.
 
Dubuc worked as compliance coordinator at Weber State University during the 2015-16 academic year and also served as a compliance assistant at Ohio University for the 2014-15 academic year. She received a Master of Science in Recreation and Sport Management from Indiana State University in 2015 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport Management, Business Administration minor from Slippery Rock University in 2014.
