Justin Oliver, Central Michigan—Junior, Davison, Mich. (Davison High School)
Central Michigan junior Justin Oliver outscored his opponents 60-12 in finishing 6-0 to win the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational and improve to 11-1 on the season. Oliver, who is ranked sixth nationally by InterMat.com, defeated ninth-ranked Troy Heilmann of North Carolina, 9-7, in the title match. He posted a 12-0 major decision victory over fifth-ranked Colton McCrystal of Nebraska in the semifinals. Oliver’s tournament run included a technical and he shut out three of his six opponents.

Caleb Gossett, Northern Illinois—Sophomore, St. Charles, Mo. (Francis Howell Central High School)
Northern Illinois sophomore Caleb Gossett went undefeated at 285 at the Hoosier Duals last weekend. Highlighting his performance, the Huskie redshirt-sophomore defeated Cleveland State’s Colin Kelly by a tech. fall, 15-2. In his first bout, Gossett defeated Indiana’s Fletcher Miller,12-6. Gossett improved his record for the season to 8-4 with the victories.
Cameron Kelly, Ohio—Junior, Bellbrook, Ohio (Belbrook High School)
Ohio junior Cameron Kelly ranks 15th in the 133-class according to InterMat after posting a 20-3 technical fall win on Saturday, Dec. 2 over Appalachian State’s Codi Russell. Kelly started the match with a takedown in the first period and Russell would quickly earn an escape followed by another takedown by Kelly. Kelly would then earn back-to-back near-falls to take the first period 12-1. Kelly earned an escape to start the second period followed by a takedown by Russell to make it 13-3, Kelly would earn an escape followed by a takedown to lead 17-3 going into the third. Russell would earn a takedown to start the third period. Kelly would earn an escape followed by takedown and a near-fall to take the match in a 20-3 technical fall. Kelly now has a 14-2 record on the season.
Michael McGee, Old Dominion—Freshman, Bolingbrook, Ill. (Plainfield East High School)
Old Dominion freshman Michael McGee was the only Monarch to go 2-0 last week in duals after visiting two top-ten opponents. On Nov. 30, the Monarchs dropped a match to No. 6 North Carolina State, where McGee topped Thomas Cox with a tech fall in 5:39 to give the Monarchs a 5-0 lead. Against No. 4 Missouri, McGee defeated two-time NCAA Qualifier and No. 15, senior Barlow McGhee, 2-1 in three overtime periods. McGee now has a 2-2 record over ranked opponents. McGee now moves to 12-3 on the season.
