Daniel Lewis, Missouri—Junior, Blue Springs, Mo. (Blue Springs High School)

 
Missouri junior Daniel Lewis captured an individual title at 174 pounds at the Reno Tournament of Champions last weekend, recording three falls and a major decision en route to the title.  Lewis closed out the tournament with back-to-back falls, pinning Daniel Bullard (North Carolina State) at 1:35 in the semifinals, then Kimball Baston (Utah Valley) at 1:40 in the finals. With the four victories, Lewis improves to 16-0 on the season with a team leading 10 falls. The three falls in the tournament moved him into the top-10 list in program history among career falls, ranking seventh with 29.

Jordan Ellingwood, Central Michigan—Senior, Plainfield, Ill. (Central High School)

 
Central Michigan senior Jordan Ellingwood went 3-0 in dual victories over Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, and Purdue. He posted a 14-3 major decision victory against NIU, a pin in 3:22 against SIUE, and an 11-3 victory over Purdue.
 
Devin Nye, Kent State—Junior, Springfield, Ohio (Springfield High School)
 
Kent State junior Devin Nye won the 285-pound title at the Cleveland State Open last Saturday at Woodling Gym.  He went 4-0 on the day, including a 15-3 major decision over Ohio State’s Chase Singletary in the quarterfinals.  Nye clinched his second career Cleveland State Open crown with a 5-2 victory over Gardner Webb’s Lathan Bumgarner in the finals.
 
Brock Hudkins, Northern Illinois—Sophomore, Danville, Ind. (Danville High School)
 
Northern Illinois sophomore Brock Hudkins defeated Central Michigan’s Drew Hildebrandt, 4-2, at 125. Hudkins is the only active Huskie that wrestler that qualified for the NCAA championships last season and is currently ranked 21st at 125 according to intermat wrestling.  The Huskie sophomore is nine and three so far, this season and earned his 30th college win on Saturday.
