YPSILANTI, MIch. - Junior Nicole Swartz (Dayton, Ohio-Centerville) and sophomore Casey Gavigan (East Setauket, N.Y.-Ward Melville) picked up two wins apiece to lead the Eastern Michigan University women's swimming and diving teams past the University of Akron, 162-138, Saturday Nov. 4, at Jones Natatorium.

Bowling Green at Miami - Results
OXFORD, Ohio – The Miami University women’s swimming and diving team beat Bowling Green 224-85 to earn its first victory of the season. The RedHawks improve to 1-2 on the season (1-1 MAC) and the Falcons drop to 3-2 (0-2 MAC).

Toledo, Ohio – The Toledo women's swimming and diving team hosted its first home meet of the season Saturday, splitting a tri-meet with Ball State and Oakland. The Rockets defeated the Cardinals, 207.5-92.5, and fell to the Golden Grizzlies, 165.5-134.5.

Results
CARBONDALE, Illinois – The Saluki swimming and diving team tested itself against some of the best competition in the nation in the opening day of the Saluki Invite. The Salukis set nine season bests and won the women's three-meter dive, but trail Kentucky, Missouri and Northwestern on both the men's and women's side of the meet.
