Jordan Bueter and Kalina Smith combined for 37 kills to lead the Central Michigan volleyball team to a 3-1 Mid-American Conference victory over Northern Illinois on Friday at McGuirk Arena.  The win extended the Chippewas' win streak to a season-high four. CMU improved to 14-11, 6-7 MAC. The Huskies dropped to 7-21, 6-7.

The Ohio volleyball team (14-13, 8-5 MAC) clawed back from a six-point deficit in the fifth set to stun Mid-American Conference East Division rival Bowling Green, 3-2 (25-17, 15-25, 25-20, 15-25, 17-15), on Friday (Nov. 3) at the Stroh Center. Ohio improved to 5-3 in five-set matches in 2017 with the victory.
