Men's Soccer Academic All-MAC Team Announced

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2017 Men's Soccer Academic All-MAC team Monday. A total of 40 student-athletes were named to the team.

Western Michigan led the team with nine student-athletes, while SIUE landed a total of eight. Anthony Bowie of Western Michigan was the only All-MAC eligible student athlete to earn a 4.0 GPA.  

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
