Holthusen Named United Soccer Coaches Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Akron men's soccer senior Stuart Holthusen (Auckland, New Zealand) capped his award-winning week with his selection on Tuesday, Oct. 31, as the United Soccer Coaches Division I National Player of the Week.
College Soccer News and
TopDrawerSoccer.com named Holthusen to their National Teams of the Week. Additionally, Akron Athletics honored him as the Summa Health Student-Athlete of the Week.
He was also recognized as the Mid-American Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
The fifth-ranked Zips return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 1, as Akron welcomes Marshall to FirstEnergy Stadium – Cub Cadet Field for a 7 p.m. tilt.
